Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Chelmsford city centre on Sunday, August 19, have released some CCTV images of witnesses they need to speak to.

 

All of the people are believed to have had some contact with a man in the company of Jamie Waters, 29, of Andyk Road, Canvey Island.

Waters has been charged with the murder which happened in Duke Street.

A 27-year-old man, now identified as Urim Rama, an Albanian national who had been living in the London area, died on August 20 after being assaulted in Duke Street during the early hours of the previous day.

 

DI Martin Pasmore of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said: "We are currently examining CCTV from the city centre on the night of the murder and have identified a number of people we need to speak to who may have had contact with a man in the company of the suspect who has been charged.”
