Essex: Children invited to take part in Mini building workshop Essex: Children invited to take part in Mini building workshop

Children are being invited to make their own car model in a challenge set by the Essex Police Museum.

The museum will provide all the materials needed to make your own model of a Mini, the car which police officers drove during the 1970s.

Museum curator Becky Wash says: "I am a Mini enthusiast. They are great little cars and a British design classic.

“I am sure all children will love the challenge of making a model of their very own."

The event, which is aimed at children aged over five, takes place on Wednesday, August 29, at 10am-4pm.

There is no need to book.
