North Fambridge: Hundreds expected to line streets for triathlon
Hundreds of villagers are expected to line the streets to cheer on triathlon competitors.
The Fambridge Yacht Haven Half Iron Triathlon, which involves a 1.9km swim, 90km cycle and 18km run, will be taking place tomorrow.
Race director Jamie Cooper, 25, said: “This is the second time we will have held the event. “Last year it was absolutely brilliant.
“I hadn’t seen anything like it before. “Pretty much everyone in North Fambridge came out and they were all helping.”
