Essex: Appeal to find relatives of man killed by train
Police are appealing for help to locate relatives of a man who was struck by a train.
Anthony Charters, 57, died on June 1 in Ilford.
Police are treating his death as non-suspicious.
British Transport Police (BTP) carried out enquiries but there was no recent address recorded for Mr Charters.
Gary Mathias, BTP Coroner’s Liaison Officer, said: “Despite an extensive search within Essex, London, the South East and Manchester, where Mr Charters was born, we’ve so far been unable to trace any relatives.
“It is important that we trace Mr Charters’ family and inform them of this incident.
If you have any information, however small, which could assist us in tracing his relatives, please get in touch.”
