Safety investigations continue in the Maldon district.

INVESTIGATIONS by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) into two serious incidents in the Maldon district are still ongoing.

Seven-year-old Michelle Gellard died in an incident at Blackwater Leisure Centre on June 14, 2008.

Late last year the HSE agreed to take control of the investigation.

And the HSE is also aware and investigating an incident on December 7, 2009, when a 64-year-old man from Braintree suffered multiple fractures.

It is alleged he was run over by a forklift truck at D W Clark and Sons at Beckingham Business Park in Tolleshunt Major.

No dates for any findings to be revealed have been confirmed.
