FIREFIGHTERS will be swapping their hoses for sponges as they take part in a charity car wash in aid of the British Heart Foundation and Firefighters Charity.
The event at Maldon fire station in Wycke Hill, Maldon, on Sunday May 24 will start at 10am and run through to 4pm.
Everyone is encouraged to go along to make the day a success and raise as much money as possible.
