A MAN is in custody after police carried out a drugs raid in Maldon this morning.
Officers from Essex Police's High Harm Team and Chelmsford and Maldon’s Community Policing Team entered a property in Falcon Mews, Maldon this morning just after 9.30am.
A large quantity of cannabis and thousands of pounds' worth of cash was seized from the property.
A 27-year-old man, from Maldon, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and remains in custody for questioning.
