PLANS for up to 45 homes with public open space in Heybridge will go to appeal.
Maldon District Council threw out Endurance Estates Strategic Land’s outline planning application for up to 45 houses on land near Maypole Road in Heybridge in April last year.
The design of the development would be in an “L” shape with garaging, parking spaces, public open space and infrastructure works within allocated grounds of the North Heybridge Garden Suburb.
Maldon District Council refused the application stating it would not be needed for its housing plan or the NHGS. Langford Parish Council also opposed the plans.
Despite this, Endurance Estates have now launched an appeal against the council’s decision, with a hearing expected to take place next month.
Anyone wishing to make representations or comments regarding the development for the appeal should email east2@pins.gov.uk by April 16.
