MEMBERS of the Maldon in Bloom team and their grandchildren enjoyed their first working party of 2018 at Promenade Park.
The members and their families worked together tidying the drought garden.
Dorreen Linton, chairman, said: "It was good to see that the Plume Academy rosemary bushes planted last year have grown into healthy bushes.
"Plants donated by the Maldon in Bloom team last year have also survived the winter.
"After tidying and filling several bags with dead leaves, cutting back broken stems, everyone enjoyed planting bulbs and plants.
"The session ended with a cup of tea and ice-creams at Kevin’s cafe in the Park."
