CROWDS came out in force to support a Little Totham dog rescue centre as it held its annual dog show and fun day.
Clarks Farm Greyhound Rescue cares for dogs that have retired from racing.
It put on its show at Plantation Hall, in Heybridge on Sunday.
Dozens of dogs were looking their sparkling best as they competed for a range of prizes in sporting and non-sporting challenges, including best young handler, best black dog and best in show. There were also prizes awarded for best fancy dress, best family of dogs, most appealing eyes, best condition and best with children.
There were also bouncy castles and face painting for children.
Money raised from the fun day will help to support the rescue centre and their charity partners, the Retired Greyhound Trust and Friends of Crayford Retired Greyhounds who take in ex-racing greyhounds and find them new homes.
