A COUPLE has launched a unique new business that pairs wine with coffee.

Married couple Charlie and Sarah Ryland, from South Woodham Ferrers have launched “Two Essentials” in the town, after realising their shared passion for choosing the best wines and coffees could be turned into a business.

The concept behind the business aims to abolish the stigma of snobbery which is often attached to enjoying a nice red or choosing the perfect Pinot.

Both Charlie and Sarah relish the challenge of hunting down wines that taste incredible but are from independent, family-run vineyards.

Being able to sell them knowing they are the best around, but are still affordable, is something they take great pleasure in.

Charlie said: “The possibility of exploring vineyards all around the world, sourcing the best on offer and growing a reputation for excellence without a huge price tag is a massive driving factor for me.”

Discovering the different blends and subtle flavours of coffee from around the world is another journey that appealed to the couple.

The Essex pair believe the excellent coffees they discover from independent producers deserve to be shared, meaning a win-win for the growers, distributors and customers alike.

Sarah said: “We love finding wine that is not readily accessible and have found a few bottles that are not currently available in the UK which we are extremely excited to introduce to the market.”
