A CAT that had been missing for more than two weeks has been found after being trapped in a storage container.

Black cat Millie went missing from her home in Clarendon House, Heybridge on July 11.

Concerned owners put out an appeal after she did not return after two days.

Despite this, Millie was still missing for another two weeks until she was discovered trapped in a storage container.

Her owner Andrew Taylor said: “Our beautiful girl Millie has been found and was trapped inside a storage container with old furniture.

“She has lost some weight but eating lots, she was more than likely trapped for two weeks inside it.

“At the moment she is one very thirsty girl and thin at her hips. Trapped inside a wardrobe inside a metal container over some field, the wardrobe has no roof so she had fallen in and not able to get out as the doors bungee tied up.

“My dad and step mum went looking, heard crying and went and looked and there she was.

“A big thanks to everyone that helped out with the search, thankfully she should make a full recovery.”
