A CHARITY concert returned to Burnham to raise money for specialist dementia nurses.
Dengie Rocks Against Dementia was the second event of its kind and has been organised by the Burnham action group SEAN (Support Essex Admiral Nurses), who are working with Dementia UK to try and bring Admiral Nurses to the Maldon District and the rest of Essex.
SEAN member and Burnham resident Cristina Franchi said: “It was an extremely successful day, we raised a total of £1,090, with £500 raised from our auction alone which was donated to by local businesses.
“Huge thanks go to all who helped organise, who turned up, and for the artists who played for free all day, and the local businesses.”
