TO celebrate the opening of its second museum, visitors will be able to gain entry to Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome for free, for one day only.
Donation Day, on Sunday, will see entry to the Purleigh airfield free for the day, with donations being collected in the shop if visitors wish to do so.
Chief Executive of the aerodrome, Ian Flint said: “for all of us who work and volunteer here at the aerodrome, we know exactly how special it is. Now we need to share this hidden gem with the rest of the world and invite visitors to hear its amazing story.”
The new 37 Squadron Museum will be open along with the Home Defence Museum. Guided tours will also be available on the day.
