Church to use share of £80,000 grant money for roof repairs
A CHURCH in Tolleshunt Major is one of nine in the county to have been awarded a share of almost £80,000 in grant money.
The money, provided by the Friends of Essex Churches Trust will be shared out between the churches including St Nicholas’ Church, in Church Road, Tolleshunt Major.
St Nicholas’ has been awarded a £350 grant.
The money will be used to help fund much needed ceiling repairs at the church.
