A LOCAL postcode has today scooped a big Lottery prize.
Four lucky residents of The Withywindle, South Woodham Ferrers, have bagged £1000 each after their postcode scooped the People's Postcode Lottery's Daily Prize.
A minimum of 30 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £175 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
A local cause that has received support from players is Alfie James Productions, which was awarded £2,000 last year for a theatre group for over 55s to explore storytelling techniques and reminiscence theatre and improve self-confidence.
People’s Postcode Lottery Ambassador, Judie McCourt, said: “What a great prize for our players in South Woodham Ferrers! It’s easy to play, just sign up now and your postcode is your ticket.”
