FREE parking will return to Maldon this festive season to help residents complete their Christmas shopping.

Maldon District Council is offering free parking at all its Maldon own centre pay and display car parks on December 10, 17 and 24.

Normal charges will continue to apply in Promenade Park on those days.

Ron Pratt, chairman of the council’s community services committee, said: “I hope that everyone will take advantage of these free parking days in the run up to the festive season in order to help support and boost the economy of the town.”
