A CAR crashed into the front of a house in Heybridge.
Firefighters were called to the scene in Hillary Close last night at approximately 7.23pm last night.
A spokesman for Essex Fire Service said: "Firefighters were called to Hillary Close in Heybridge after a car crashed into the front of a house leaving the porch damaged and structurely unsafe, overhanging the public footpath.
"A crew from the Urban Search and Rescue Service (USAR) unit were sent to the incident to help make the scene safe.
"There was no one trapped in the vehicle."
No one was seriously injured and fire crews made the scene safe and finished their work at around 10.20pm.
