A STREET art project has been completed in Burnham-on-Crouch as part of a community safety initiative.
The project can be found at Riverside Skate Park, and involved young people coming together to repaint the wall, giving them a sense of ownership and community.
The scheme was funded by the Essex Police and Crime Commissioner and run by Maldon District Community Safety Partnership.
The skate park is well used by people from all over the District, however for some time the wall has been vandalised and has become an eyesore.
The young people worked with local street artist, Brave Arts, who guided them on how to professionally complete the art.
Participants came up with the hashtag #ourburnham to display on the mural and show their pride in their community.
An official unveiling will be arranged for the work, but a date has yet to be decided on.
