A FUNDRAISING event has been arranged to raise money for Little Havens Children’s Hospice.

On Sunday, August 14, a country show will be taking place at Purleigh Halt, on Barons Lane, Purleigh, to support the charity.

The day will include a dog show, laser clay pigeon shooting, archery, displays from birds of prey, and a range of classic cars and motorcycles will also be on display.

There will also be a performance from Sutherland Pipes and Drums who are celebrating their 50th year, and a new wildlife walk for children to enjoy.

Claire Wilson, Community Fundraiser for Little Havens Hospice, said, “The care we give is completely free of charge and we can only continue thanks to our supporters in the community who put on events such as It’s Showtime.

"The event has been going strong for many years and it looks to be another fantastic day with lots for families to enjoy.”

Entrance to the event will cost £6 for adults and is free for under 16s.
