AN outdoor activity centre will opens its doors for a family fun day next weekend.

Essex Outdoors Bradwell will be given adventure seekers the chance to try a range of activities for free.

On Sunday, July 31, between midday and 4pm the centre will be open to the public for water and land based activities.

During the day there will be archery, climbing and high ropes activities.

There will also be sailing and powerboat experiences in the Blackwater Estuary with timeslots needing to be booked on arrival.

All activities are suitable for children aged seven and above.

Essex County Councillor John Spence said: “What better way to spend the day than having fun, for free, trying a range of new adventure experiences.

“Essex Outdoors Bradwell is located in a fantastic spot on the Blackwater Estuary, so why not come and explore this beautiful location and enjoy a great family day on the land and sea.”

A BBQ and refreshments will be available on the day with free parking at Bradwell Marina.

There will be no parking at the centre on the day.
