The Government has issued flood alerts for the Rivers Colne, Blackwater and Crouch Estuaries, warning people flooding is possible and to be prepared.
They warn high tides are expected because of a combination of spring tides, a tidal surge and strong winds.
High water is due at Clacton at 2.13am, with a forecast tide level of 3.10m.
The wind will be coming from the west, at strength force 6.
The flood warning, issued this afternoon, lasts until 4.13am on Monday morning.
