The Maldon Amateur Pantomime Society has announced its latest show.
With a fresh cast, the troupe are rehearsing for its own take on Aladdin, to be performed throughout January at the Maldon Town Hall, Market Hill.
Ray Knight, 78, of King Street, who has been a committee member for 11 years, said: “It’s going to be a super pantomime next year.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun - there’s going to be plenty of jokes and the characters are all extremely well versed in delivering live performances.
“Rehearsals are well under way and we’re looking forward to seeing as many people there as possible.”
Written by Louise Markham and directed by Vickie Holmes, the group promise the show will “one to remember.”
Tickets, which are £9 but £7 for children and over 75s are available from the Tourist Information Centre on Wenlock Way – telephone 01621 856503.
Evening performances will be from January 22 – 23 and 29 – 30 starting at 7.30pm.
Saturday matinees will be performed from 2.30pm on both weekends.
