Fire update: This is the moment 2,000 bales of hay caught alight in Southminster
These are scenes of more than 2,000 hay-bales on fire off Keelings Road, Southminster, over the weekend.
Crews from Tillingham, Great Baddow and Chelmsford, who estimated there were about 4,000 hay bales at the scene, tackled the blaze from Saturday afternoon through to Sunday morning.
They used one hose reel jet to prevent the fire spreading to the surrounding area.
A spokesman for Essex Fire said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
