Artistic youngsters awarded for their creativity
YOUNGSTERS in Maldon have been awarded for their entries into a children’s art competition.
Judged by mayor Mark Heard this year’s theme was ‘what I love about Maldon’.
Picking up the awards for first prize in their categories were Maria-Carmen Lonergan, eight, Amie Pierpoint, six, and Liam Hearn, eight.
Mr Heard thanked the Maldon Art Trail, Maldon Library and Tesco in Maldon for their support of the competition.
