A teenager would like to thank the mystery man who found his wage packet and handed it in.
Alan Ritzka, 17, who works at the Three Horse Shoes in Althorne, lost his wages on his way home from work late on Sunday night.
His aunt, Fran Elliott, then put an appeal on Facebook to track down the cash.
She wrote: “My 17-year-old nephew is utterly gutted and upset that he has lost this so please if any one has picked it up could you please hand it back in to the pub or contact me.”
The family did not hold out much hope and so they were over the moon when a Good Samaritan dropped it into the pub on Tuesday.
Were you the mystery man? If so, Alan would like to say thank you in person.
