Wetherspoon pub site is hive of activity as opening day approaches
With little more than a month before it is set to open, a pub site is a hive of activity.
JD Wetherspoon is set to open in Maldon High Street on August 11, although passers-by may not have guessed that from looking at the construction site.
There is currently scaffolding up, boarded up windows and about 20 builders at work.
It is understood that renovation work has yet to take place inside the pub.
