Crowds will give 100 East London cabbies and hundreds of disabled school children a spectacular Maldon welcome today.
The High Street will teem with people waving at the children between 1pm-1.30pm before they stop at Plume School on Fambridge Road for lunch.
Plume’s event organiser Jean Ingram, said: “It’s one of the most special days on the calendar and we’re all really excited to provide a very special day for our guests.”
Following lunch, the cabbies will make their way to Promenade Park, where the children will enjoy a disco, face-painting, a gift from the organisers and a magic show.
