The East of England Ambulance Service are asking the public to take precautions as temperatures rise.
The service wants those spending time outside to avoid sunstroke, heat exhaustion and dehydration by following simple tips.
The service suggests:
- Avoid being in the sun between 11am and 3pm,
- Drink lots of cool drinks,
- Make sure you apply sunscreen regularly when out in the sun,
- Keep an eye on others, especially children and older friends and relatives.
