A new medical centre is coming to Danbury to replace its "cramped and overcrowded" surgery.
Work has started on a new medical centre to replace the 40-year-old building at Eve's Corner which is "unsuited" to modern health care services.
Senior partner Patricia McAllister, said plans had been in the pipeline for more than ten years but had been delayed a number of times.
She said: "The new surgery will provide a vastly improved environment for everyone."
