Five days until Tolleshunt D'Arcy surgery closure
A village surgery will be closing in five days.
The Tolleshunt D’Arcy doctor’s surgery is set to close on Monday despite the parish council offering the village hall as alternative premises.
An NHS England East spokesman said: “NHS England understands that the Tollesbury Medical Practice has been unable to agree an extension to their current lease for the Tolleshunt D’Arcy branch surgery with their landlord.
“This surgery will therefore close on March 31.
“NHS England is currently working with the Tollesbury Medical Practice to determine a longer term solution for the patients of Tollesbury practice that are currently seen at the Tolleshunt D’Arcy branch surgery.”
