A football club determined to increase supporters is offering season tickets for the first time and has revamped the club.
Maldon and Tiptree FC marketing and communications director Adam Drew, 35, of Abbotsmead, Heybridge, is aiming to give the club a more professional look.
Adam, who runs a print business, got involved with the club three months ago and has since taken on the marketing role, ‘out of love for the club’.
He said: “We want to make the club a bit more professional, the players are probably two or three leagues away from professional.
“The club has a lot of potential and my aim is to get another 50, ideally 100, people on the gate.
“We are offering half season tickets, for the last nine games of the season.
“It saves a lot of money- they cost £72 and a half season ticket would cost £50.
“In June we will offer season tickets."
