Festive fayres in Maldon and Burnham will have stalls overflowing with Christmas goodies.

The Burnham Festive Fayre will be held on Saturday, December 6, with Father Christmas arriving on his sleigh at 2pm to mark the start of the event.

He will then take up residency in the clock tower grotto for the afternoon.

At least 48 stalls will be based in the centre of the town, promising an array of seasonal delights from food and produce to handmade gifts and art work.

To set the mood, a traditional Victorian Organ, known as a Hurdy Gurdy, will be played at the entrance to the road closure.

Maldon's High Street will come alive on Thursday, December 11, from 2pm - 9pm with a special Christmas Fayre.

Market stalls will line the street from Market Hill up to the police station.

Additional stalls will also be in the Town Hall.
