Many visitors are attracted to Burnham's quayside and individual shops.
We spoke to some to find out why they like to visit.
Katie Brett, 35, has lived in Main Road, St Lawrence, for nine years and is a regular visitor to Burnham with her two children, Scarlet, four, and Huey, three.
She said: “We come here several times a month to go to the cinema or walk along the sea wall and just get out and about.
“We go and see the boats and to the park and library.”
Scarlet added: “I like the park and the pirate ship there.”
