Tributes have poured in for a little boy who bravely fought cancer three times.
Laughlin Whiteley, seven, of Burnham, died on Saturday evening.
He had received a stem cell transplant early this year and was in remission, but the cancer returned in the summer.
The St Mary’s Primary School pupil, known by his nickname Lockey, was named Most Inspirational Child at the WellChild Awards last month and received his award from Prince Harry.
His parents, Andrea Poyser and John Whiteley, posted moving tributes on the Unlock a Life for Lockey Facebook page in tribute to their eldest child.
They read: “When Laughlin is feeling a bit puffed, he always says, ‘Just let me take my breath.’
"He took his last tonight at 6.30pm.
“Laughlin passed away this evening at 6.30pm.
“He was surrounded by his mummy and daddy.
“Pain free, fly high my angel of sunflowers.
“You brave strong warrior I know you have entered heaven and surrounded by love."
