Police are investigating the theft of three Chihuahua puppies from an address in Chelmsford.

On Thursday, August 14, at around 8.30pm, thieves entered the back garden of the property in Burghley Way and stole the puppies.

Following extensive enquiries to trace those responsible, police are now appealing to the public for information.

The puppies are three months old. Two are black and white, the other is brown.
