Holiday hell after luggage is stolen on route to Mexico

First published in Local News

An art teacher is seeking compensation after a holiday disaster ended in half her luggage being stolen.

Lorna Moore, 25, of Maldon, was looking forward to a relaxing break with her boyfriend in Mexico, only for her suitcase to go missing at Gatwick Airport.

Miss Moore was without her case for seven days of the 11-night trip, booked through Thomson.

A Thomson spokesman said they were sorry to hear of the delay in the case reaching Miss Moore and described the incident as "rare".
