FIREFIGHTERS have attended seven incidents during two hours of strike action on Sunday afternoon.

Members of the Fire Brigades Union are striking between midday and 2pm as part of a national dispute with Government over pensions.

The incidents included a person stuck in a lift and a road traffic collision with one person trapped.

The strike will end at 2pm.

A spokesman for Essex Fire and Rescue said: “Members of the public should continue to dial 999 in an emergency and we will respond.”

Another strike will take place this evening between 10.59pm and 11.59pm.

Interesting isn't it that during the strikes the so-called Fire Service media people can give up to date information on what is/was happening, but totally fail to do so when normal working takes place.

If you go on the Essex Fire site it shows all incidents and it shows how little they have to do. GET BACK TO WORK.
