Firemen who fought fires for a combined total of 100 years have been celebrated, a decade after four of them retired.
Special presentations were made to firemen David Brightwell, Kevin Tappin, Robert Wilkinson and Stephen Toy for their long service.
All served at Tollesbury Fire Station and retired ten years ago.
Mr Tappin said he was ‘chuffed’.
He said: “I was really pleased, now it feels like our service to the village was appreciated.
“It was a really enjoyable evening.”
