Anglia in Bloom judges descended on Maldon last Tuesday, to mark the town on it’s gardening prowess.
Judges mark on horticultural achievement, environmental responsibility and community participation.
They toured Promenade Park, Plume School, Friary Walled Gardens and Market Hill Gardens.
Accompanying the judges was Roberta Marchant, chairman of Maldon in Bloom.
She said: “I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
“Everyone worked very hard and we want to thank everyone for their continued support.”
