A vision of the proposed North Heybridge Garden Suburb has been brought to life with artist’s impressions.
This is an early glimpse of what the vast new housing development could look like, which is in addition to more new homes proposed for land north of Holloway Road and west of Broad Street Green Road.
The garden suburb proposal is for 1,235 new homes, 350 built in the next five years, followed by 440 in the following five years and a final 445 after that.
Holloway Road and Broad Street Green Road sites are both earmarked for 100 homes each, to be built within the next five years.
Today, councillors sitting on the Planning and Licensing Committee are expected to give the go ahead for a public consultation on the draft strategic masterplan for North Heybridge Garden Suburb.
