Safety day underway for Drowning Prevention Week
A safety event is taking place today to encourage people to be cautious on and near the water.
The day is part of the Royal Life Saving Society's Drowning Prevention Week and will be held from 10am - 4pm at South Woodham Ferrers fire station.
South Woodham Coastguard and Rescue team will be there to answer questions and give advice.
