Three people were rescued from a speedboat that was taking on water.
They received a 999 call from the Lady Carter at 3.40pm yesterday and were told the sailors were unsure of their location, having left Bradwell Marina earlier.
An RAF Sea King search and rescue helicopter, a lifeboat crew and coastguard rescue team were helped by two other nearby vessels, Dawn Tide and Offshore Provider, to help with the search.
Lady Carter was located on St Peter’s Flats and its crew were brought ashore at Bradwell Marina.
