A care home has said has said it has responded to and rectified concerns raised by inspectors.

Swan Care Residential Home, in North Street, Tillingham, was told to take action by the Care Quality Commission following an unannounced inspection in February, which found that the home was not meeting set standards.

A report, published by the CQC in March, said that improvements were needed in relation to the management of medicines, consent to care and treatment, ensuring that staff received appropriate refresher mandatory and specialist training and the recording of complaints.

Joyce Banning, the registered manager for the care home, said: “CQC did have some minor concerns over a few of the outcomes and fortunately flagged them up so that we could rectify and make the amendments necessary."
