Bikers are being targeted in a new road safety campaign to reduce motorcyclist deaths and injuries.
Posters featuring a character called Hugger will be displayed along popular biker routes, including the B1012 at South Woodham through to the B1010 in Burnham.
Recent statistics show that motorcyclists in Essex make up only 1% of road traffic but are involved in 26% of road traffic collisions involving death or serious injury.
Drivers will be encouraged to be aware of bikers, who will also be encouraged to consider additional training to help ride safely.
