5:00pm Sunday 11th May 2014 in Local News
A defibrillator has been given to a village for residents to help anyone who has a cardiac arrest.
The East of England Co-operative Society has given Southminster the device, which is housed outside the new toilets in the car park off the High Street.
A number of villagers have been shown how to use it.
In an emergency, the defibrillator can used to help a patient while they wait for paramedics to arrive.
