A school is launching a fundraising drive for airborne paramedics after they helped a seriously injured staff member.
Mum-of-three Lisa Aydon, a child and family support worker at Burnham Primary School, was treated by air ambulance crews when she suffered a serious head injury last Saturday.
An ambulance service spokesman said she suffered life-threatening injuries after falling down the stairs at her home in Albert Road, Burnham.
School principal Nicky Patrick hopes to raise £750 in honour of Mrs Ayden and scaled a 30ft climbing wall yesterday for the cause.
