A town councillor has stepped down from leading a plan to help shape Burnham’s future.
Jack Sheppard announced at a Burnham Town Council meeting on Wednesday **16th** that he will not be carrying on his role as the lead member for the town’s neighbourhood plan.
At the meeting, he said his decision was partly due to the consultants the council had decided to get on board.
He said: “I wasn’t in favour of Allies and Morrison being the consultant and that has a bearing on my decision.
“It’s not the company but the way they came to us.”
