Brave shoppers had the chance to sample some bushtucker.

The East of England Co-Op in Burnham had bug smoothies, containing fruit juice and crickets, cricket jelly and queen weaver ants on offer yesterday.

It was part of an Australian themed day in the Foundry Lane store’s travel department, aimed at promoting Oz as a holiday destination.
