Bishop of Bradwell John Wraw, on the right, will be performing in a play about the Easter story

An actor performing as Jesus will enter South Woodham Ferrers on a Harley Davidson motorbike. One Life, One Passion - the story of Easter - will be performed in the town centre at 11am tomorrow and on Saturday.

Portraying Jesus is Kenton Church, a street pastor, who said: “Playing Jesus is a great privilege; this will be a very special experience for me and hopefully for those watching too.”

Bishop of Bradwell The Right Revd John Wraw plays Bartimeus, the blind man, accompanied by trainee guide dog Roma.

Peter Blackman will direct the play, which will be performed in Trinity Square.
